Too Young

This review is near and dear to my heart because it isn’t for a book that was given to me, it is about a book I personally played a role in bringing to bookstores and readers.

Too Young is a middle grade Christian fantasy book by debuting author, A. Bean—and it is the very first release of The Rebel Christian Publishing! I am so excited to see this on the shelves and in the hands of readers and I’m excited to share it with you!

There are some of you who have been with me for the last 5 years; you remember when this website was just a small blog where I posted reviews for indie books and authors. Look at where God has brought us! I am honored to be able to post this review and I pray there will be many more to come!

Meet Tatianna T. Williams, a ten-year-old girl with a big imagination. Tatianna loves making up new worlds; she can ride dragons, conquer kingdoms, and rescue the handsome prince! With her best friend by her side, Tatianna is never bored; but then her parents decide to move to a new state, and she is forced to leave her friend behind. That’s when things get weird.

Tatianna’s imaginary worlds become a reality. The forest forms around her and the great magical buck appears, even when she doesn’t summon him. Little Titi is losing control, but she isn’t complaining. In fact, Tatianna decides she wants to share this new world with her new friends but when she takes her friends to the forest, she realizes they can’t see the world the way she can.

That’s when Tatianna realizes the key to seeing her imaginary worlds is her faith and it is up to her to share her faith with her friends. Watch as Little Titi discovers who she is as a child of God and learns to see herself the way Christ sees her. Conquer your greatest fears, go on adventures, and learn that you are never too young to be used by God.

I loved working with A. Bean because she’s a new author who is determined and filled with great potential. She loves the Lord as much as Tatianna and isn’t afraid to share her faith in her work. Her new book is a great introduction to Christianity for children; it also covers other topics such friendship, hurt, bullying, and even racism.

If you enjoy fantasy books and strong female leads, this is the book for you. It will be most appreciated by Christian children ages 8-12, but parents and older siblings will love it, too!
